Contract Duration
By signing up for this offer, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with [Gym Name] for a minimum term of 12 months.
The agreed monthly fee of £24.99 will be payable via direct debit for the full duration of the contract, starting from the date of sign-up.
Direct Debit Payments
Payments will be collected on the agreed date each month. It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are available.
A failed payment may result in additional charges and suspension of membership privileges until the account is settled.
Cancellation Policy
This contract cannot be cancelled within the agreed 12-month period unless:
You provide written evidence of a permanent relocation more than 15 miles from the gym.
You present a valid medical certificate stating you are unable to continue physical activity for the remainder of the contract.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing with a minimum notice period of 30 days.
Freezing Membership
Membership can be frozen for up to 3 months during the contract term in cases of long-term illness or injury, subject to proof (e.g., medical documentation).
Freezing requests are subject to a £10 admin fee per freeze request.
Early Termination
Early termination is not permitted except in exceptional circumstances as outlined in the cancellation policy.
A cancellation fee equivalent to the remaining monthly payments on the contract will apply if early termination is requested outside of these conditions.
Changes to Membership
Membership rates are fixed for the contract term.
Any changes to your direct debit details must be communicated to the gym at least 14 days prior to the next payment date.
Access and Rules
Membership grants access to the gym during regular operating hours. The gym reserves the right to amend operating hours and class schedules without prior notice.
Members are required to adhere to gym rules at all times. Failure to do so may result in membership suspension or termination without refund.
Refunds
Membership fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, except where required by law.
Transfer of Membership
Membership is non-transferable and can only be used by the individual named in the agreement.
Legal Compliance
This contract is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Additional Fees
The gym reserves the right to charge reasonable admin fees for missed payments, changes to direct debit details, or breaches of the contract terms.
