Barbell Club is a technique-focused class designed to develop mobility, core stability, movement efficiency, and lifting confidence. Whether you’re completely new to barbell training or looking to refine your skills, this class provides a structured pathway to help you move better, lift stronger, and train smarter.


You’ll begin by learning key movement patterns using a PVC pipe, allowing you to safely develop mobility, body awareness, and technical proficiency in Olympic lifting and functional fitness movements. As your technique improves, you’ll progress to a training bar, 15kg barbell, or 20kg barbell, depending on your experience and ability.


Throughout the programme, you’ll learn the mechanics behind Olympic lifts and CrossFit-style barbell movements, while gradually applying progressive overload to build strength, power, and confidence. You’ll also develop the ability to cycle a barbell efficiently, perform technical movements under fatigue, and apply your skills within workout-based training.
